Course Duration: 3 Weeks (72 hours)
Students will learn to recognize and understand the basic weaves and natural fibers, the application and development of synthetic fibers, and the general history of textiles. Various painting, dyeing, and weaving techniques are experienced through class projects and field trips. Knowledge of textiles and their applications and limitations is helpful to the designer when designing an interior setting. *Expectation of outside class work required.
