Although there are some interior design styles that can be detrimental to Feng Shui, more often than not, the principles of both work well together. Clutter and disarray are no-no’s in good interior design, and they also disrupt the positive energy flow in Feng Shui. A room layout that encourages a free flow of positive energy will also make it easy to navigate and walk through the room. Furthermore, Feng Shui encourages great organization, not only for exposed areas, but also for hidden areas like cabinets, closets, and shelves; just as good interior design and decoration promotes keeping things organized and easily accessible.
